Chanel — Neuilly‑sur‑Seine: Sourcing Intern (Subcontracting, Fragrance & Beauty) starting July 2026. Internship in procurement/supplier sourcing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end sourcing activities for subcontracted manufacturing partners in the Fragrance & Beauty division, including identification and pre-qualification of vendors.
- Prepare and manage RFQs, collect technical and commercial proposals, and consolidate comparisons for stakeholder review.
- Assist with supplier audits, capability assessments and quality/technical follow-ups to ensure conformity with Chanel standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Manufacturing teams to coordinate trials, sampling and industrialization steps with selected subcontractors.
- Maintain and update the supplier database and sourcing trackers; ensure data accuracy for cost models, lead times and capacity.
- Contribute to contract documentation and support negotiation processes under guidance of senior procurement colleagues.
- Produce regular status reports and presentations for the sourcing team and project leads.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in supply chain/procurement, chemical/cosmetic engineering, cosmetic science or business.
- Demonstrable interest in fragrance or cosmetics manufacturing and subcontracting operations.
- Strong analytical ability with experience using Excel for data consolidation and cost comparisons.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with suppliers and cross‑functional internal teams.
- Professional maturity, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
- Professional proficiency in French and good working knowledge of English is strongly preferred.

Experience
Prior internship experience or academic project work (6–12 months equivalent) in procurement, supplier management or sourcing—preferably within cosmetics, fragrance, CPG or a related manufacturing environment.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Chemical/Cosmetic Engineering, Cosmetic Science or Business.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
