Chanel seeks Solution Architect for Collections Development in Paris; design PLM Centric architecture for luxury fashion cycles.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and document functional, applicative, and technical architectures for collections development and industrialisation solutions
  • Ensure architectural coherence with DSI strategy, Chanel Mode standards, and business objectives
  • Analyse functional and technical requirements; propose solution scenarios and evaluate impacts on existing information systems
  • Define integration principles between domain solutions and other SI components (ERP, PIM, DAM, data repositories, industrial tools) with enterprise architects
  • Support run, project, integration, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams in implementing architectural evolutions
  • Contribute to security hardening, performance optimisation, maintainability, and scalability of solutions, particularly PLM Centric and its ecosystem
  • Participate in scoping, architecture reviews, and technical arbitrations with business stakeholders, DSI leadership, and external partners
  • Produce and maintain architecture deliverables, data flow schematics, integration principles, and associated documentation with Tech Engineering enterprise architects
  • Conduct ongoing market surveillance on solutions, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, or information systems design roles
  • Demonstrated expertise with PLM solutions, ideally PLM Centric in a fashion, luxury, or retail context
  • Strong command of application architecture principles, integration patterns, workflow modelling, SI urbanisation, and architecture documentation
  • Ability to translate complex functional requirements into structured, scalable solutions with a business-needs orientation
  • Proficiency in mixed Agile and waterfall project environments; experience collaborating with multidisciplinary internal and external teams
  • Capacity to communicate and demystify technical topics for business stakeholders whilst engaging effectively with IT teams, architects, integrators, and vendors
  • Proven rigour, structured thinking, intellectual curiosity, and pragmatism with a service mindset and strong analytical capability
