Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Tokyo social media team in planning, producing and publishing platform‑specific content (organic posts, Stories, Reels, short video).
- Draft and edit copy in the brand voice for captions, microcopy and localised messaging across channels.
- Assist with community management: monitor comments and messages, escalate customer queries, and maintain tone and response guidelines.
- Schedule and maintain the content calendar; coordinate shoot logistics, talent, and asset delivery with studio and retail teams.
- Compile weekly and monthly performance reports using analytics to identify trends and opportunities; present insights to the social team.
- Research local cultural trends, platform behaviours and competitive activity to inform creative briefs and campaign tactics.
- Collaborate with creative, PR, retail and regional teams to ensure on‑brand execution and compliance with global guidelines.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills with strong attention to tone, grammar and localisation.
- Social‑first creative sensibility with a demonstrable understanding of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube formats.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.
- Keen interest in luxury fashion, brand storytelling and visual culture; discretion and respect for brand confidentiality.
Skills
Experience
Internship level: 0–1 years of practical experience in social media, content creation or a communications role. Prior internships or freelance projects handling channels or short‑form video are advantageous.
Education
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism or a related field.
