Chanel is hiring a Skin Consultant in Taipei — on-counter skincare advisor role delivering personalised consultations and luxury clienteling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised skin consultations and facial analysis to clients, diagnosing skin concerns and recommending bespoke skincare regimens and treatments.
- Drive sales through tailored product recommendations, strategic upselling and strict adherence to brand selling techniques and KPI targets.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality client book through proactive clienteling, appointment management and post‑purchase follow-up to maximise retention and lifetime value.
- Execute in-store merchandising, sample management, stock control and point-of-sale operations in accordance with Chanel visual and operational standards.
- Participate in brand training, product launches and team briefings to maintain up-to-date product knowledge and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and regulatory requirements for in-store treatments and product demonstrations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in beauty or skincare retail, counters or spas; 1–3 years preferred.
- Strong commercial aptitude with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a premium or luxury environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Professional presentation and the ability to represent an ultra-luxury brand with discretion and attention to detail.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays; flexibility for multiple store placements within the Taipei area.
Skills
Experience
Experience working in cosmetics, skincare counters, or high-end beauty retail is preferred, with demonstrated sales results and client development. Practical experience delivering facial skin consultations or treatments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in cosmetology, esthetics or skincare is a plus.
