Chanel Senior Supply Planner
Chanel seeks a Senior Supply Planner in Candiac, Canada to lead S&OP, inventory optimisation and supplier coordination for luxury product lines.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply planning for assigned categories: translate commercial forecasts into feasible supply plans that optimize inventory, service and working capital.
- Own S&OP activities for the product family: coordinate demand reviews, supply reviews and executive alignment to ensure timely product launches and replenishment.
- Develop and maintain master production and replenishment schedules in coordination with manufacturing, sourcing and logistics partners.
- Analyze inventory KPIs and implement corrective actions to mitigate stockouts, overstocks and ageing—apply root-cause analysis to continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Demand Planning, Production, Quality and Logistics to align priorities across seasonal assortments and promotional activity.
- Assess supplier capacity and constraints, propose contingency plans, and support supplier performance improvements and risk mitigation.
- Prepare actionable management reporting and scenario analyses to support trade-offs between lead times, cost and service levels.
- Drive process standardization, data hygiene and best-practice planning methodologies across the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, business administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS/CPIM/CSCP) preferred.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead S&OP workshops/end-to-end planning cycles.
- Strong analytical capability with a track record of improving inventory turns, fill rates and forecast accuracy.
- High level of commercial acumen specific to seasonal apparel or luxury goods, including understanding of product life cycles and assortment cadence.
- Demonstrated experience working with third‑party manufacturers and international logistics partners.

Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive supply-chain or planning experience, preferably within apparel, leather goods or luxury consumer brands; demonstrable ownership of S&OP cycles, inventory optimisation and supplier coordination.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering, business, or equivalent; graduate degree or supply-chain certification is an advantage.
