Chanel — Senior Product Platform Manager in Hong Kong. Lead platform strategy and delivery across North Asia and SEAA for the global luxury house.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and own the product platform strategy and roadmap for North Asia and SEAA, aligning regional priorities with global product objectives.
- Lead cross‑functional squads (engineering, UX, commercial, marketing, operations) to deliver platform capabilities that enable omnichannel commerce and services.
- Translate market and local business requirements into scalable platform features, ensuring appropriate localisation and regulatory compliance for each market.
- Establish and track KPIs, OKRs and success metrics for platform adoption, reliability, performance and business impact.
- Manage vendor and technology partner relationships, including contract oversight, SLAs and delivery governance.
- Drive product lifecycle processes: discovery, prioritisation, delivery, launch and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder management across regional country leads and global product/tech teams; communicate roadmap tradeoffs and release plans to senior leadership.
- Coach and mentor junior product team members and promote best practices in product management and agile delivery.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in product management with responsibility for platform or core services in a multi‑market environment.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs and measuring product outcomes.
- Experience managing third‑party vendors and platform integrations at scale.
- Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for translating technical concepts for commercial stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
Senior candidates with 7–10+ years of product management or platform experience, including a track record of delivering digital platforms across multiple markets in the Asia‑Pacific region. Experience working with engineering teams and external technology partners is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
