Chanel hiring Senior Packaging Designer in Paris for Watches & High Jewelry division – luxury packaging design role, permanent position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conceive and develop packaging designs for horological and high jewelry collections that reflect Chanel's brand identity and aesthetic standards
- Collaborate with product design, marketing, and production teams to ensure packaging feasibility, sustainability, and brand alignment
- Oversee the full design lifecycle from initial conceptualization through production specifications and vendor management
- Lead design presentations and defend creative concepts to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of materials, printing technologies, and sustainable packaging innovations
- Mentor junior design staff and foster a culture of creative excellence within the packaging design studio
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in luxury goods packaging design or related creative disciplines
- Proven portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end packaging solutions, preferably for watches, jewelry, or similar luxury categories
- Advanced proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, or equivalent 3D visualization tools)
