Chanel seeks Senior Manager, Workforce Technology Solutions in Piscataway, NJ; lead payroll and workforce management systems with 7+ years UKG expertise. $87.5K–$170K.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of internal and external resources supporting the workforce technology function, providing coaching and development
- Serve as subject matter expert and strategic advisor for Workforce Solutions, Payroll, and HRIS systems across the organization
- Own UKG Workforce Management functionality including timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, leave balances, kiosks, attestation, approvals, and reporting
- Implement new functionality and direct ongoing support for Workday, Ultipro, UKG Dimensions, and UKG Workforce Management platforms
- Design and manage an operating model for system integrations across payroll, workforce management, and people systems
- Partner with Payroll, People & Organization, Boutique Excellence, Retail Operations, and leadership to enhance workforce processes
- Lead configuration, testing, release management, and production support for UKG WFM enhancements and deployments
- Drive improvements in payroll accuracy, scheduling compliance, labor reporting, and user experience across systems
- Manage payroll integrations between UKG WFM, HR systems, payroll platforms, and financial reporting systems
- Lead senior-level meetings including steering committees, strategic roadmap reviews, and governance discussions
- Assess and evaluate software solutions for key business initiatives in consultation with stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional project teams for system implementations, including planning, testing, and training execution
- Create comprehensive project plans and identify implementation risks with mitigation strategies
- Communicate project status regularly to business and IT stakeholders at all levels
- Manage vendor relationships for software and professional services, including RFP and RFI development where applicable
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Workforce Solutions, Payroll, Scheduling, and HRIS systems
- Extensive hands-on expertise with UKG Workforce Management, UKG Dimensions, Ultipro, and Kronos platforms
- Strong knowledge of payroll integrations between workforce management and HR/payroll systems
- Demonstrated experience with Workday or other enterprise HRIS platforms, preferably in integration scenarios
- Experience with UKG product suite (UKG Ready, Bryte, and related solutions)
- Direct people management experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Retail industry experience, particularly with boutique, store, or contact center operations
- AI data and process optimization experience
- System design and architecture experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (Master's degree preferred)

Experience
7 years or more of direct experience in workforce technology solutions, payroll systems, and HRIS platforms. Candidate should have demonstrated expertise managing complex system implementations, leading technical teams, and supporting enterprise-wide deployments in retail or similarly complex operational environments. Retail operations experience—particularly in boutique, store, or centralized workforce management contexts—is strongly preferred. Direct people management and cross-functional team leadership experience required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related discipline is a strong advantage.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 87,500 to USD 170,000 per annum.
