Role & Responsibilities
- Lead execution of Chanel Visual Merchandising standards across corporate and boutique environments, ensuring consistency, excellence, and brand elevation at every touchpoint
- Partner closely with Corporate VM, Boutique Leadership, Fashion, Watches & Fine Jewelry, and cross-functional teams to support launches, floor moves, windows, events, and seasonal installations
- Translate corporate direction into clear, actionable guidance for field and boutique teams, balancing brand vision with the needs of each market and location
- Build strong, trusted relationships with internal partners to influence decisions, align priorities, and drive consistent execution across the network
- Oversee installation, de-installation, mannequin changes, décor placement, prop styling, lighting adjustments, cleanliness, and photo documentation with strong attention to detail
- Facilitate VM trainings, seminars, and coaching moments that strengthen boutique teams' understanding of Chanel standards, product storytelling, and styling expectations
- Manage and support boutique VM partners and freelance talent, providing direction, feedback, and follow-up to ensure high-quality execution
- Maintain strong organization, time management, and follow-through to meet deadlines for launches, documentation, reporting, travel, and key deliverables
- Leverage strong digital, photography, and communication skills to document work clearly and share updates with Corporate and regional partners
- Support the broader West Coast VM community and U.S. Corporate VM priorities through regular market visits, monthly travel, and adaptable partnership across teams
- Demonstrate accountability, sound judgment, and comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and ambiguity
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or high-end display environments
- Associate's degree in Display & Exhibition Design, Art, Fashion, or related field, OR minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience in VM and retail display
- Proven experience managing visual merchandising across multiple retail touchpoints and retail partnerships
- Strong digital, photography, and visual documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence and partner across teams
- Valid driver's license and passport with reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs regularly
- Willingness to travel 2–3 times per month within region and accommodate weekend and overnight assignments

Experience
Minimum 7 years of progressive visual merchandising experience in luxury retail, high-end boutique, or multi-brand retail environments, demonstrating success in leading VM execution across multiple locations and managing both internal teams and external creative partners.
Education
Associate's degree in Display & Exhibition Design, Art, Fashion, or related field; or equivalent professional experience in visual merchandising and retail display (7+ years minimum).
