Chanel is hiring a Senior Manager, Transformation Office in New York to lead strategic transformation programs and governance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the Transformation Office to define, prioritise and deliver a multi-year transformation portfolio aligned with executive strategy.
- Establish governance, standards and reporting for program and portfolio management, including steering committees and KPI dashboards.
- Own end-to-end program delivery: scope definition, business case development, resource allocation, risk management and benefits realisation.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across retail, product, operations, IT and finance to ensure dependencies are managed and milestones met.
- Drive change management activities—communication strategies, training plans, and adoption metrics—to embed new ways of working.
- Produce executive-level syntheses and presentations for C-suite and board-level forums; translate complex topics into decision-ready recommendations.
- Mentor and develop transformation and PMO team members, and promote consistent methodologies and toolsets across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs (7+ years), ideally within luxury retail, fashion, consumer goods or related sectors.
- Experience establishing PMO/Transformation Office governance, portfolio prioritisation and benefits realisation frameworks.
- Strong executive stakeholder management with experience briefing C-suite/steering committees.
- Formal program or project management certification preferred (PMP, Prince2 or equivalent); change management certification (Prosci) a plus.

Experience
Minimum of seven years leading complex, cross-functional transformation or large-scale program delivery, with demonstrable experience managing governance, executive reporting and benefits realisation; prior exposure to luxury retail or consumer-facing organisations strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
