Chanel seeks a Senior Manager, Retail Excellence in Hong Kong to lead retail performance, standards and training for the HK market.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement retail excellence strategy for the Hong Kong market, aligning store standards, commercial KPIs and client experience objectives with regional and global priorities.
- Lead programs to improve store performance: KPI tracking, sales conversion, average transaction value, clienteling effectiveness and inventory productivity.
- Design and deploy training, coaching and capability-building initiatives for store management and frontline teams to embed best practices and service standards.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (operations, merchandising, HR, CRM, visual merchandising) to deliver process improvements, pilot initiatives and roll‑outs.
- Analyse retail data to identify performance gaps and opportunities; prepare actionable insights and regular performance reports for senior leadership.
- Project-manage in-market implementations and change initiatives, ensuring timelines, budgets and stakeholder expectations are met.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, loss-prevention procedures and local regulatory requirements in all retail operations activities.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in retail operations, retail excellence or store performance roles within luxury fashion or premium retail.
- Demonstrable ability to translate data into actionable retail initiatives and sustain measurable commercial impact.
- Strong project and change management skills with experience leading cross-functional, matrix stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills with experience developing store management capabilities.
- Ability to operate with discretion and maintain the highest standards of brand representation.

Experience
Approximately 7–10 years of progressive experience in retail operations or retail excellence, including several years in luxury or premium retail environments and a proven record of delivering measurable store performance improvements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management or related discipline; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
