Chanel seeks a Senior Manager for People & Organization in San Francisco, CA. Lead regional HR strategy and talent management across the Pacific Northwest.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional human resources and organizational development strategy aligned with Chanel's global corporate objectives
- Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations for the Pacific Northwest region
- Design and implement organizational structures that support business growth and operational excellence across retail, logistics, and corporate functions
- Manage employee engagement, culture initiatives, and internal communications to foster a high-performance working environment
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive positioning and regulatory compliance
- Serve as strategic partner to regional business leaders on people-related matters, providing coaching and organizational consultation
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive human resources or organizational development experience in luxury retail, fashion, or multinational corporate environments
- Proven track record in regional or multi-site human resources leadership with P&L accountability
- Expert knowledge of US employment law, regulatory compliance, and best practices in talent management
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate organizational strategy into people-focused initiatives
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years in progressively senior human resources, organizational development, or talent management roles, with significant experience leading multi-functional teams and managing human resources strategy for large, complex regional operations. Prior experience in luxury fashion, premium retail, or consumer-facing corporate environments strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or related field. MBA or SHRM certification preferred.
