Chanel seeks a Senior Manager of People & Organization in Houston, TX to lead HR strategy across Texas and Georgia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with Chanel's organizational objectives across Texas and Georgia
- Oversee talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding programs for the region
- Lead organizational development initiatives and change management efforts
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Build and mentor the HR team to ensure service excellence and strategic execution
- Partner with senior business leaders on workforce planning and succession planning
- Establish HR policies, procedures, and best practices that reflect Chanel's brand values and culture
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive human resources experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR management role
- Proven track record leading HR operations across multiple locations or states
- Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, and regulatory requirements in Texas and Georgia
- Demonstrated experience with talent acquisition and organizational development
- Strong business acumen and strategic planning capability
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity. Prior experience leading HR functions across multiple states or regions, ideally within luxury, retail, or high-end consumer goods sectors, is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree (MBA, MHRM) or professional HR certification (SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is preferred.
