Chanel is hiring a Senior Manager, IT Audit in London to lead IT audit, cybersecurity and compliance programs for the maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and own the IT audit programme for the UK region, including annual planning, risk assessment and execution of IT general controls (ITGC), application and cyber audits.
- Design and deliver audits focused on cybersecurity, cloud environments, ERP and retail systems, data protection (GDPR) and third‑party/vendor risk.
- Assess IT control design and operating effectiveness, prepare succinct executive reports and present findings to senior stakeholders and audit committees.
- Coordinate with global internal audit, external auditors and IT leadership to align scope, share findings and drive remediation activities to closure.
- Provide advisory assurance on major IT projects and transformations, performing pre‑implementation reviews and continuous control monitoring.
- Mentor, coach and develop junior audit staff; allocate resources and manage external specialists when required.
- Maintain and enhance audit methodologies, working papers and KPIs to improve efficiency and transparency of the audit function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or a related discipline; master’s degree or equivalent desirable.
- Professional certification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or CIA strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in IT audit within a multinational corporate environment, with demonstrable exposure to SOX compliance, GDPR and cybersecurity controls.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence senior technical and business leaders.
- Strong analytical ability, professional scepticism and a methodical approach to risk assessment and remediation tracking.
Skills
Experience
Typically 8+ years of progressive IT audit or information security assurance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience auditing ERP systems, cloud implementations and cybersecurity programmes in a multinational retail or luxury environment is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
