Chanel is hiring a Senior Manager, Global Finance Academy in London to lead finance learning strategy and global training programmes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global learning and development strategy for finance functions, aligning curricula with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Design, curate and deliver blended learning programmes (classroom, virtual and e-learning) covering technical finance, business partnering, leadership and commercial acumen.
- Partner with senior finance leaders and HR stakeholders to identify capability gaps, set learning priorities and measure programme impact using learning metrics and ROI analysis.
- Oversee end-to-end management of the Finance Academy: curriculum development, faculty sourcing, vendor management and budget stewardship.
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of learning specialists and trainers; serve as principal sponsor for key global rollout initiatives and high-potential cohorts.
- Govern learning technology and content standards (LMS, SCORM/xAPI assets), ensuring consistency of competency frameworks and certification pathways across markets.
- Champion change management to accelerate adoption of new financial processes and systems, and to embed a continuous-learning culture within finance communities.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in learning & development with a focus on finance or finance-facing populations within a multinational organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management capability with experience influencing senior finance and HR leaders globally.
- Demonstrable experience designing curricula and running blended programmes, including assessment frameworks and certification.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to present complex financial topics to mixed audiences.
- Experience managing budgets, external vendors and learning technology deployments.
Skills
Experience
Typically 7+ years of combined finance and learning & development experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or programme-lead capacity driving global learning initiatives for finance or commercial functions. Experience in luxury goods, professional services or financial services is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or learning & development; professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or a L&D credential (CIPD, ATD) is a plus.
