Chanel seeks Senior Manager, Business Operations in New York. Lead financial planning, inventory management, and data governance for U.S. Fragrance & Beauty retail network. $87.5K–$135K.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, governance, and operational management of Store Experience and CAPEX investments, providing visibility into budgets, forecasts, retailer billing, and investment tracking
- Partner with Finance, Production, Store Design, and Retailer teams to manage financial governance, monthly close activities, and investment tracking
- Lead inventory planning and forecasting based on project pipeline, retailer priorities, and business needs, maintaining enterprise visibility across merchandising assets
- Serve as business owner of the Merchandising Database, ensuring data integrity, governance, and operational excellence while championing its adoption as a strategic planning and reporting tool
- Develop and maintain KPI reporting across Store Experience initiatives and CAPEX investments, translating financial, inventory, and operational data into executive-ready insights
- Build dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility into portfolio performance and overall business health
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Advanced Excel proficiency with ability to manage large data sets, build trackers, create reporting tools, and synthesize complex information
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, invoices, forecasts, reconciliations, accruals, or related financial processes
- Highly analytical with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate information into actionable insights
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization and manage complex, multi-step processes across different stakeholders and timelines
- Demonstrated experience in retail, beauty, merchandising, store design, CAPEX, finance, supply chain, inventory planning, or operations
