Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the global brand protection enforcement strategy across digital and physical channels.
- Lead the global online enforcement strategy under the guidance of the Head of Global Brand Protection Enforcement.
- Provide senior legal counsel on intricate brand protection issues, aiding in risk management and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate negotiations with online platforms, collaborating closely with regional enforcement teams.
- Oversee global enforcement programs, ensuring regional and market consistency.
- Develop and maintain operational guidelines and enforcement playbooks.
- Drive the adoption of innovative enforcement tools and monitor global digital threats and trends.
- Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and manage external partnerships with IP associations and service providers.
- Represent Chanel in industry forums and policy discussions related to brand protection.
- Oversee service provider performance, contracts, and budgets, ensuring data-driven insights.
- Lead the development of training tools and awareness initiatives for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer or equivalent professional training with extensive post-qualification experience in IP law and brand protection.
- Experience in developing and implementing enforcement strategies within a multinational context.
- Deep understanding of digital platforms, online ecosystems, and counterfeiting trends.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and engage senior stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
Significant post-qualification experience in intellectual property law and brand protection enforcement, particularly within online environments.
Education
Qualified lawyer or equivalent professional training.
