Chanel seeks a Senior Inventory Operations Analyst in Sao Paulo to oversee stock accuracy, reconciliations and inventory controls for luxury retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day inventory operations across assigned channels: reconciliations, stock movements, cycle counts and adjustments to maintain ledger accuracy.
- Design, implement and monitor inventory controls and SOPs to reduce shrinkage and optimise stock availability for boutiques and distribution centres.
- Lead regular inventory audits and cycle-count programmes; investigate variances and drive corrective action with cross-functional stakeholders (retail, distribution, merchandising, finance).
- Produce and present KPI reports and management dashboards (inventory accuracy, days of inventory, shrinkage, stock turn) to senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with supply chain, planning and retail teams to align replenishment, transfers and clearance activities with demand and commercial priorities.
- Coordinate system data integrity tasks and support ERP inventory modules and integrations; liaise with IT on process improvements and system fixes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory control, stock operations or supply chain in retail or consumer goods; prior luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable experience leading cycle counts, stock reconciliations and inventory audit processes.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, macros) and familiarity with ERP inventory modules.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and proven ability to drive cross-functional corrective actions.
- Fluency in Portuguese and professional working proficiency in English.

Senior-level professional with approximately 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain operations, ideally within retail or luxury goods. Demonstrated track record of improving inventory accuracy through process redesign and stakeholder engagement.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
