Chanel seeks Senior HR Business Partner for Core Corporate Functions in New Jersey—drive P&O strategy, organizational design, talent development across Operations, Finance, Legal.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and drive the people and organization strategy for Operations, Finance, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs, ensuring each function's people agenda is proactively shaped, implemented, and measured for impact
- Set and steward the portfolio's P&O roadmap, establishing priorities, defining outcomes and milestones, and reporting progress to business leaders and the Head of P&O
- Translate global Corporate P&O strategies into regional context, adapting enterprise philosophies into fit-for-purpose implementation plans
- Lead organization and operating model design, workforce planning, and optimization to support agility, efficiency, and growth
- Design and implement talent development, succession, and pipeline strategies for critical roles across supported functions
- Serve as orchestrator and business-unit interface for organizational development and engagement initiatives, including transformation programs and change management
- Establish governance, measurement, and reporting rhythms to track progress, resolve impediments, and communicate impact to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of HR Business Partner experience supporting corporate or enabling functions in complex, matrixed organizations
- Demonstrated strategic partnership capabilities with senior leaders while maintaining operational rigor
- Proven ability to manage or partner across multiple geographies and build trust with geographically distributed teams
- Strong organizational design and operating model design capabilities
- Evidence-based approach to decision-making leveraging data and analytics
- Experience leading or partnering on workforce redesign for AI/human-machine collaboration initiatives
- Experience working within a center-of-expertise and shared-services operating model
- Leadership agility and adaptability in evolving operating models
- Experience in luxury, retail, or creative industries preferred

Experience
Minimum 15 years as an HR Business Partner or equivalent strategic HR leadership role supporting corporate or enabling functions within complex, matrixed organizations. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of translating enterprise people strategies into practical, business-led outcomes; designing and optimizing organizational structures for agility and efficiency; and partnering effectively with C-suite and senior business leaders on talent, culture, and organizational transformation initiatives.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related discipline. Advanced degree or professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 170,000 to USD 200,000 per annum.
