Chanel seeks Senior Event Design Professional in Seoul to lead luxury event projects with strategic design, vendor management, and project execution expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage F&BP event projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery of premium brand experiences aligned with Chanel's aesthetic standards
- Develop innovative event designs that transcend global guidelines while resonating with local and travel retail customer preferences and market dynamics
- Negotiate with premium venues and service providers to secure optimal locations and conditions for event installations
- Execute 360-degree action plans to drive measurable results including traffic, sales conversion, customer recruitment, app registration, and social media engagement
- Prepare comprehensive project launch packages including business briefs, site surveys, design specifications, and construction guidelines for stakeholder alignment
- Manage construction drawings, contractor quotations, and bidding processes to maintain budgetary control and schedule adherence
- Supervise quality control throughout production, installation, and on-site construction, ensuring compliance with Chanel's quality standards
- Conduct venue suitability assessments and manage post-installation maintenance and site management
- Oversee procurement of imported materials and maintain accuracy in inventory forecasting and management
- Generate project progress and completion reports for distribution to relevant internal teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in design, architecture, or interior design
- Minimum seven years of direct experience in retail design and construction with strategic store planning involvement
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, and AutoCAD
- Advanced competency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Fluent English language skills in both spoken and written communication

Minimum seven years in retail design and construction with direct involvement in strategic store planning and event design execution.
Education
Bachelor's degree or above in design, architecture, interior design, or related field. Experience in the cosmetics industry preferred.
