Chanel seeks Senior Commercial Coordinator, Travel Retail in London. Full-time permanent role managing cross-functional travel retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and maintain retailer product catalogues, new line forms, campaign pricing, stock sheets, training materials and discontinuation documentation across all travel retail channels
- Manage retailer-specific product assortments and D365 inclusions/exclusions in partnership with National Account Managers and distribution teams
- Coordinate end-to-end launch cycles across multiple retailers through cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Finance, distribution centres and E-Retail
- Track and produce weekly performance reports synthesising retail sales, passenger data, industry trends and campaign results from multiple data sources
- Deliver retailer-, store- and SKU-level analysis identifying performance trends, opportunities and risks; support store grading reviews and premium range evaluations
- Generate and distribute confidential commercial documentation including price increase notices across UK, Ireland and South Africa
- Produce monthly target templates and sales reports for field teams in partnership with Finance; manage invoice processing and purchase orders
- Lead data stewardship for Travel Retail distribution doors including Reltio and Compass code set-up; support departmental system rollouts and cross-functional data alignment
- Coordinate bi-weekly meetings with Marketing to ensure alignment between departments; plan and execute major retailer events including bi-annual strategy meetings and conferences
- Organise quarterly cycle meetings, team offsites and events; provide ad hoc operational support to National Accounts, Head of Sales and Retail Development Managers
- Manage Director's domestic and international travel arrangements via Concur and organise team lunches and meetings
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a commercial coordinator, commercial operations or similar business operations role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas and data manipulation
- Expert-level PowerPoint skills with ability to produce impactful presentations and visualisations
- Proven relationship-building capability and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential commercial information including pricing
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with ability to deliver multiple deadlines under pressure
Skills
Experience
2+ years in a similar or comparable commercial operations, commercial coordination or business support role, with proven experience managing confidential commercial information and coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives. Prior experience within Fragrance & Beauty, retail, travel retail or luxury sectors is highly desirable.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education or relevant professional qualification preferred but not essential for candidates with strong proven experience.
