Senior Business Solution Manager at Chanel Seoul: Lead retail tech projects and governance, manage POS/OMS platforms, drive team performance in a global luxury environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure project goals and expectations are aligned; participate hands-on in SIT and UAT test case development and verification
  • Track project progress against plans, adjust timelines as needed, and report status to sponsors and IT management; drive issue resolution and escalate appropriately
  • Serve as the focal point of contact for Regional and Global counterparts, driving continuous evolution of online and offline retail technology projects
  • Manage requirement gathering, customer journey definition, agency coordination, local customization development, end-user testing, and technical performance management
  • Coordinate change management initiatives locally across IT systems and business processes to deliver omnichannel customer experience
  • Provide technical leadership and support for retail applications including POS, OMS, and corporate systems; serve as local point of contact for IT technical support post go-live
  • Coordinate with Regional IT and vendors for issue troubleshooting and vendor service level compliance
  • Monitor and ensure appropriate service levels, deployment timelines, and contract compliance from vendors
  • Manage and monitor domain budget forecasting, service improvement recommendations, and timely completion of actions
  • Build and lead a high-performing Business Solution Domain Team; attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent through coaching and mentorship
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and influence key stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives and KPIs
  • Exercise sound judgment and decisive leadership in complex, fast-paced environments; lead organizational change initiatives and foster agility

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • MBA or MA preferred
  • ITIL V3 certification (Expert level preferred)
  • PMP or Prince 2 certification
  • At least 10+ years of hands-on experience in business systems with successful implementation references
  • Experience in international context and culture; technical consulting background preferred
