Chanel seeks a Business Finance Professional in Seoul to manage ESG reporting, sustainability performance monitoring, and climate transition planning across the Asia region.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ESG data collection across divisions and functions to ensure reporting compliance with CSRD requirements and develop standardized processes across the Asia region
  • Assist global and regional sustainability teams in developing carbon emission calculation methodologies, monitoring emissions by Scope and category, and validating data integrity across divisions
  • Support the management and implementation of RE100 renewable energy initiatives, identifying solutions and ensuring procurement aligns with Chanel's ESG commitments
  • Consolidate and coordinate investments related to the Climate Transition Plan across divisions and develop effective ESG governance structures, KPIs, and metrics
  • Provide actionable insights from ESG data analysis to enable management decision-making and support divisions with OPEX and CAPEX budgeting aligned to sustainability KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal control and risk teams to prepare for ESG audits and assist with overall controlling and financial projection models in sustainability

Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Management Systems, Economics, or Quantitative Finance
  • Experience working in sustainability or ESG functions
  • Knowledge of external reporting and compliance standards
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting standards (GRI, ISSB, Value Reporting Foundation, TCFD, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong project management and execution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data analysis into clear, actionable frameworks
