Senior Auditor at Chanel Shanghai: Lead internal audit and risk management across Asia Pacific. Five years required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive audit work programs and test plans to assess key risks and control effectiveness
  • Prepare and manage document request lists, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required materials
  • Organize and lead kick-off and audit planning meetings, ensuring key stakeholders are aligned
  • Conduct and execute audit fieldwork, evaluating business processes for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Document audit findings and support the Senior Manager, Internal Audit Business Partner on closure of follow-up actions
  • Draft high-quality audit findings and reports providing clear, concise, and actionable recommendations
  • Support audit managers in special projects and ad hoc assignments to support internal audit and business initiatives
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices to enhance audit methodologies
  • Travel up to 30% across the Asia Pacific region to engage with Chanel teams and operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CFE, or CISA preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk management within a corporate or public accounting setting
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit principles, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance practices
  • Analytical mindset with passion for identifying innovative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Experience in data mining and data analytics is a plus
  • Experience in the retail and/or luxury sector is a plus
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (both verbal and written communication)
