Role & Responsibilities

• Execute daily Accounts Payable operations including invoice posting, payment processing, offsetting entries, and documentation management across Asia markets
• Manage Accounts Receivable operations including payment collection, reconciliation for retail and wholesale customers, customer refund processing, and settlement entries
• Address and resolve complex inquiries and cases from external parties (vendors, customers) and internal business users with strong diagnostic and problem-solving acumen
• Demonstrate comprehensive end-to-end process understanding and apply knowledge to daily operations and effective problem resolution
• Uphold Chanel's internal controls—both manual and automated—at the transactional level
• Support Finance Managers in driving process efficiency and working capital improvements; contribute ideas to regional and global projects
• Deliver system training to business users on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Escalate inappropriate behavior, professional or ethical misconduct, and policy non-compliance as required

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
• CPA, CA, ICAA, or equivalent professional accounting certification (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of professional accounting experience with emphasis on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations
• Proven experience in a Shared Service Center environment (advantageous)
• Proficiency with AX Dynamics, Coupa, Concur, and POS systems (advantageous)
• Solid expertise in Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes with understanding of market-specific requirements
• Fluent in English (mandatory)

Skills

Experience

Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting and finance operations experience. Hands-on expertise in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing is essential. Experience within a Shared Service Center environment is advantageous. Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise financial systems (AX Dynamics, Coupa, Concur) and operational know-how of Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes across diverse markets strengthens candidacy.

Education

University degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline. Professional accounting certification such as CPA, CA, or ICAA is preferred but not mandatory.
