Chanel seeks a Security Manager in Mexico City to lead physical security, loss prevention and crisis response across boutiques and corporate sites.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the local physical security and loss‑prevention strategy for Chanel boutiques, offices and assets in Mexico City in alignment with global security policies.
- Lead day‑to‑day security operations: supervise security personnel, manage shift rosters, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, site surveys and security audits; identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation plans with local stakeholders and facilities teams.
- Oversee monitoring systems (CCTV/VMS), access control, intrusion detection and alarm response protocols; manage vendor relationships for security systems and guarding services.
- Develop and maintain incident reporting, investigation and escalation processes; liaise with local authorities and external partners as required.
- Design and deliver security training for boutique teams and corporate staff, including theft prevention, emergency evacuation and crisis response simulations.
- Manage security budgets, contracts and procurement for security-related services and equipment.
- Coordinate with Chanel's regional/global security and loss prevention teams to ensure consistent practices and timely information-sharing during incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, risk management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional security certification preferred (CPP, PSP, ISO 31000, or equivalent).
- Proven supervisory experience with responsibility for multi-site retail or corporate security operations.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican security, labour and privacy regulations as they relate to guarding and electronic surveillance.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors and security system deployments (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
- Proven competency in incident investigation, report writing and stakeholder communication, including liaison with law enforcement.

Experience
5+ years of progressive security experience, including a minimum of 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role; prior exposure to luxury retail or high‑end hospitality security operations strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, risk management or a related field; professional security certifications (CPP, PSP, or ISO risk management) preferred.
