Role & Responsibilities
- Execute premium tailoring and alteration services to Chanel's global standards while meeting designated alteration deadlines
- Study and learn each collection to understand design intent and recommend appropriate alteration methods aligned with evolving guidelines
- Assess each garment meticulously to identify necessary adjustments and tailor pieces to perfection
- Conduct fittings with precision, providing expert guidance while respecting client preferences and needs
- Perform thorough quality checks on finished alterations to guarantee cleanliness, precision, and superior craftsmanship
- Share collection-specific alteration information consistently with boutique staff to enhance team coordination
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and deliver professional, attentive service throughout the tailoring journey
- Provide expert advice on garment care, maintenance, and after-sales services to extend piece longevity
- Collaborate with the boutique team to deliver a seamless and luxurious client experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully equipped tailor shop; inform management of tool, material, and supply requirements
- Assist with stock quality control, repairing or adjusting items as necessary to uphold Chanel standards
- Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping for all tailoring activities using Chanel platforms and communicate effectively with boutique personnel
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional tailoring experience, preferably within luxury fashion
