Qualifications

  • Vocational diploma or certificate in tailoring, dressmaking or equivalent professional training.
  • Proven experience in couture or luxury garment construction, with demonstrated mastery of hand-sewing techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of fabric behaviour (silk, wool, lace, leather) and appropriate handling techniques for delicate textiles.
  • Exceptional eye for detail, precision in stitch work and a strong sense of proportion and finish.
  • Ability to manage multiple fittings and deadlines while maintaining strict quality standards.
