Chanel in Pantin seeks a Scientific Valorization Apprentice (Perfumes & Beauty) for an alternance starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support scientific valorization of fragrance and beauty products by compiling, analysing and synthesizing safety, efficacy and technical data into concise scientific summaries.
- Conduct literature reviews and maintain bibliographic records to underpin claims substantiation and product dossiers.
- Draft and format scientific dossiers, claim rationales and internal technical notes for cross‑functional stakeholders (R&D, Regulatory, Marketing).
- Coordinate with internal laboratories, external CROs and analytical teams to collect project data and monitor study deliverables.
- Prepare presentations and deliverables for project meetings and stakeholder reviews, translating technical data into clear, actionable outputs.
- Track scientific and regulatory developments relevant to cosmetics and fragrances and flag implications for product positioning or claims.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in an accredited Master's or engineering programme (M1/M2) in chemistry, cosmetic science, pharmacy, biochemistry or equivalent.
- Excellent scientific writing and synthesis skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical aptitude and ability to interpret experimental and bibliographic data.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with R&D, regulatory and marketing teams.
- Autonomous, organised and able to manage multiple short-term deliverables.

Experience
No minimum professional experience required; previous internships or project work in cosmetic R&D, regulatory affairs, scientific communication or related laboratory environments is advantageous.
Education
Current enrolment in a Master's degree or engineering programme in chemistry, cosmetic science, pharmacy, biochemistry or a closely related discipline.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Pantin, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
