Chanel Salon Visual Merchandiser in Shenzhen — develop luxury collection displays and lead visual strategy for boutique excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement collection soft launch and official launch display proposals with a minimum of three rotations per collection
- Create and execute exclusive display concepts tailored to each collection's unique style, inspiration, and storytelling narrative
- Curate and maintain bespoke wardrobe displays for clients across dressing rooms and try-on suites to enhance the client experience
- Partner closely with the Head of Boutique to understand business, client, and operational needs while adapting display strategies
- Collaborate with boutique management to strengthen visual merchandising storytelling through commercial and client-centric thinking
- Analyze sales performance by category across collections and translate insights into relevant VM actions and display optimization opportunities
- Integrate deep understanding of salon and boutique uniqueness with current fashion trends and business priorities into VM strategies
- Participate in VM buying and assortment planning for each collection in partnership with the VM Manager
- Build effective cross-functional partnerships with retail, merchandising, marketing, and PR teams to ensure successful execution
- Lead end-to-end project execution including preparation, implementation, progress monitoring, post-project review, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or fashion industry
- Strong sense of aesthetics and visual storytelling
- Demonstrated understanding of retail business and client experience dynamics
- Ability to analyze sales performance data and identify visual merchandising opportunities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with high-quality execution
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional approach
