Role & Responsibilities

  • Support boutique sales associates with client service, consultations and product demonstrations for fragrances and cosmetics.
  • Assist with daily merchandising, stock replenishment, inventory counts and upkeep of product displays to Chanel visual standards.
  • Process sales transactions and returns accurately using the boutique point-of-sale system and assist with basic cash handling.
  • Contribute to clienteling activities: capture client information, update records and support follow-up communications as directed.
  • Prepare boutique materials and assist with in-store events, product launches and promotional activities.
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate with back-of-house for replenishment and report discrepancies to the store manager.
  • Maintain a polished boutique environment, ensuring product presentation, samples and testers are pristine and compliant with hygiene protocols.
  • Support basic sales reporting and ad hoc administrative tasks to streamline daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a tertiary programme (business, retail, marketing, luxury management, cosmetics or related vocational training).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional, client-focused demeanour.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining luxury visual and service standards.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and seasonal peaks.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and able to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Fluent communication skills suitable for a multilingual retail setting (specific language requirements will be set by the boutique).
