Chanel seeks a Sales Manager for its Rome fashion boutique to lead sales, team performance and client experience in the flagship store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the Rome fashion boutique, ensuring flawless execution of Chanel brand standards and retail procedures.
- Drive sales performance and KPIs through target-setting, sales coaching and regular performance reviews.
- Develop and coach the boutique team to deliver elevated client experiences and long‑term client relationships (VIP and private clientele).
- Own clienteling activities and CRM usage to maximize client retention, conversion and lifetime value.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment and loss prevention practices in coordination with regional supply teams.
- Coordinate visual merchandising and in‑store presentation with corporate VM guidelines to ensure compelling product storytelling.
- Plan and execute in‑store events, private appointments and trunk shows to engage high‑value clients and support brand initiatives.
- Manage administrative duties including weekly/monthly reporting, staffing rotas and budgetary controls.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail with demonstrable achievement against sales targets.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience within a fashion or luxury boutique environment.
- Strong leadership and people‑development skills with ability to coach high-performing teams.
- Excellent commercial acumen and familiarity with retail KPIs (sales per head, conversion, average transaction value).
- Fluent communication skills and polished client-facing manner; discretion and professionalism required.

Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in luxury retail, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or store‑management role within fashion or accessories; proven experience managing KPIs, high‑value client relationships and boutique operations.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational qualification in business, fashion, retail management or a related discipline; formal retail or leadership training is advantageous.
