Chanel seeks an experienced S&OP Manager in Mexico City to lead sales and operations planning across all channels, driving strategic alignment and brand integrity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve the monthly S&OP cycle to drive organizational alignment
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings including Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre-S&OP, and Executive S&OP sessions
- Own the demand planning process across all channels—Retail, Wholesale, and E-commerce—developing statistical and judgmental forecasts
- Integrate historical sales data, market trends, product launches, and promotional calendars into forecasting models
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to incorporate new product introductions and limited editions
- Monitor forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, BIAS) and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement
- Partner with Supply and Distribution Center teams to ensure optimal product allocation and service level attainment
- Balance service level targets with inventory optimization while preventing stockouts on hero SKUs and controlling overstock risk
- Manage stock allocation strategies to mitigate obsolescence and write-off exposure
- Ensure demand plans align with financial budgets and provide volume and revenue projections to Finance
- Lead scenario planning exercises to mitigate supply disruptions, over-demand, and underperformance risks
- Support margin optimization through strategic inventory and allocation decisions
- Track and report key performance indicators including Forecast Accuracy, Fill Rate, Service Level, Inventory Turns, Days of Inventory on Hand, and Obsolescence metrics
- Coordinate forecasting and supply planning for new product launches and limited collections
- Manage end-of-life planning to minimize excess inventory while maintaining brand exclusivity
- Ensure data integrity across ERP and reporting systems and develop executive dashboards for visibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain management roles
- Demonstrated experience in luxury, fashion, beauty, or premium consumer goods sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and planning systems software
- Proven track record leading cross-functional processes and managing complex stakeholder environments
- Strong financial acumen and business orientation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- High attention to detail combined with strategic thinking capability
Skills
Experience
5–8+ years in S&OP, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain roles, with preferred experience in luxury, fashion, beauty, or premium consumer goods industries. Proven ability to lead cross-functional processes, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and drive strategic initiatives in fast-paced environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
