Chanel — Internship: Safety & Security Assistant (Parfums Beauté) in Paris, September 2026. Support security operations, risk assessments and incident reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Safety & Security team in daily operational tasks for the Parfums Beauté division, including coordination with retail, logistics and corporate sites.
- Contribute to incident logging, investigation documentation and preparation of incident reports for internal stakeholders.
- Assist with risk assessments, site security surveys and follow-up on corrective actions to reduce exposure and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Participate in the maintenance and review of security procedures, access-control registers and supplier credentials.
- Help prepare materials for audits, exercises and crisis-management drills; support continuity planning and business-impact analyses.
- Monitor and summarise security data (access logs, CCTV observations, loss-prevention indicators) and produce concise weekly/monthly briefings.
- Liaise with external providers (security contractors, facilities teams) and assist with basic contract and service-performance tracking.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in risk management, security studies, safety engineering, law, business continuity or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and methodical approach to documentation and follow-up.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive incidents and confidential information.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear reports and presentation slides.
- Organised, proactive and able to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and time zones.

Experience
Previous internship experience or project work in security, loss-prevention, facilities or risk management is advantageous but not required; demonstrated interest through academic projects or extracurricular activities is sufficient for the internship level.
Education
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme (risk management, safety, security, law, engineering, business continuity or equivalent).
