Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and review reward programs in close partnership with internal and external compensation, benefits, and mobility experts
  • Lead regular retail compensation and sales incentive plan reviews and propose modifications as appropriate
  • Conduct regular market competitiveness analysis against comparable market data and industry benchmarks
  • Advise market P&O teams and business managers regarding rewards programs and strategic proposals
  • Provide analysis and market intelligence supporting union negotiation cycles in partnership with employee relations teams
  • Support implementation of competitive benefits and wellness programs with selected vendors
  • Conduct job evaluation in partnership with compensation experts, market P&O teams, and business managers
  • Manage job evaluation records and conduct annual reviews on job grade assignments
  • Advise on appropriate job profiles and benchmark proposals for new and evolved positions
  • Manage Annual Compensation Review cycles and collect market trends on merit increases and macroeconomic data
  • Develop, maintain and execute manager training programmes for ACR processes
  • Conduct annual benefits reviews to ensure competitiveness of benefits provisions
  • Participate in annual salary and benefits surveys, manage data submission, and analyse results
  • Manage partnerships with service providers to ensure professional and cost-effective service delivery
  • Lead rewards-related projects as assigned and maintain awareness of emerging market trends

Qualifications

  • University degree in HR, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in rewards management, preferably in multinational organisations, retail businesses, or innovative industries
  • Strong track record leading and implementing rewards projects
  • Well versed with local employment law and labour regulations
  • Working knowledge of sales incentive plan design and expatriate compensation management
  • Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across organisational levels
