Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute compensation and benefits strategy for the Korea organisation in alignment with global total rewards frameworks.
  • Own salary benchmarking, market pay analysis and job levelling; recommend pay structures, salary ranges and differential adjustments.
  • Design and administer annual salary review, short‑term incentive plans and performance–pay governance, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage localized benefits programmes and vendor relationships (insurance, retirement, wellbeing), negotiating terms and ensuring service delivery.
  • Provide data‑driven insights through compensation analytics, modelling and reporting to HR leadership and senior management.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent teams on reward communications, pay transparency initiatives and retention strategies.
  • Lead or mentor junior rewards specialists and coordinate with regional/global rewards centres of excellence on policy implementation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field; master’s degree or relevant professional certification preferred (e.g., CCP).
  • Proven experience in compensation and benefits with demonstrated ownership of total rewards programmes in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Korean labour law and statutory benefits, and experience aligning local programmes with global reward policies.
  • Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and presenting recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Excellent analytical capability with experience in pay benchmarking, job evaluation and incentive plan design.
