Role & Responsibilities
- Define and own the multi‑year retail technology roadmap aligned to Chanel’s omnichannel and client experience objectives.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of strategic programs (POS, CRM, clienteling, inventory visibility, payment and integrations) across retail, digital and enterprise teams.
- Partner with merchandising, retail operations, marketing and supply chain to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Manage third‑party vendors and implementation partners, including RFPs, vendor selection, contracting oversight and performance governance.
- Build financial business cases, manage program budgets and track ROI and key performance indicators for retail technology investments.
- Establish architectural standards, integration patterns and data governance to ensure reliable, secure, and performant retail systems.
- Drive change management, training and adoption plans for store teams and regional leads to maximize technology utilization.
- Mentor and coordinate cross‑functional project teams; escalate and mitigate risks to meet milestones and quality targets.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in retail technology strategy and delivery, ideally within luxury or premium retail environments.
- Experience leading complex, cross‑functional programs involving POS, CRM/clienteling, inventory systems and omni‑channel integrations.
- Demonstrable success managing vendor relationships and large implementation partners.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience building business cases and tracking program ROI.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence executive sponsors.
- Willingness to travel periodically to stores, regional offices and vendor sites.

Experience
Typically 5+ years in retail technology or digital transformation roles with progressive responsibility leading strategic programs; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; advanced degree (MBA or MSc) preferred but not required.
