Chanel in Macau seeks a Retail Marketing Lead (12-month contract) to lead boutique marketing, activations and local campaign delivery.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute in‑store and local retail marketing strategies and campaign activations for Chanel boutiques in Macau, aligned with global and regional brand plans.
  • Plan, deliver and optimise retail events, product launches and customer experiences, coordinating closely with boutique managers, visual merchandising and clienteling teams.
  • Manage local marketing calendar, budgets and vendor/agency relationships to ensure timely delivery and high-quality execution of campaigns and activations.
  • Translate global marketing assets into locally relevant communications and merchandising, ensuring strict adherence to Chanel brand guidelines and visual standards.
  • Analyse retail KPIs and campaign performance (traffic, conversion, average transaction value, CRM metrics) and produce actionable insights and reports for regional stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach and coordinate any local marketing resources or cross-functional project teams to drive execution and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between regional/global marketing, store operations and external partners to ensure seamless operational delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in retail marketing within luxury fashion or beauty, with demonstrated success running boutique activations and local campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills; ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Commercially minded with experience managing marketing budgets and measuring campaign ROI against retail KPIs.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a capacity to manage multiple projects and tight timelines while maintaining brand standards.
  • High level of written and verbal communication, presentation and reporting skills.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing with at least 2 years in a retail or boutique-focused role in the luxury sector, including responsibility for local campaign execution and cross-functional coordination.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
