Chanel is hiring a Retail Manager in Seoul to lead boutique operations and deliver exceptional luxury client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily boutique operations to ensure exemplary client experience consistent with Chanel standards.
- Manage, coach and develop a high-performing sales team; oversee staffing, scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Drive sales performance and KPIs through targeted clienteling, upselling and retention strategies.
- Own inventory and stock-control processes, including replenishment, stock accuracy and shrinkage prevention.
- Maintain visual merchandising, store presentation and product presentation to brand visual directives.
- Control operational administration: cash handling, daily reconciliations, compliance and loss-prevention protocols.
- Collaborate with regional management and corporate functions on product launches, events and local marketing.
- Prepare and manage boutique-level financial reporting, budgeting and P&L accountability as required.
Qualifications
- Proven background in luxury retail with prior boutique or store management experience.
- Demonstrable leadership with experience recruiting, training and developing sales teams.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing retail KPIs.
- Strong commercial acumen including experience with inventory control and basic P&L responsibility.
- Fluent professionalism, discretion and an understanding of high-net-worth client expectations.
Skills
Experience
At least 3 years of progressive experience in luxury retail with a minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role; proven experience driving sales and managing boutique operations is expected.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in business, retail management, fashion or a related discipline preferred.
