Chanel seeks a Retail Learning and Development Partner in Singapore to design coaching programs, develop Fashion Advisors, and drive boutique excellence through personalized engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and monitor learning paths and development plans for retail teams, ensuring Fashion Advisors have access to relevant, tailored training
- Observe and analyze client–staff interactions regularly to identify capability gaps, learning needs, and growth opportunities for the retail team
- Develop and implement individual and team coaching plans; monitor progress, track outcomes, and provide timely feedback aligned with CHANEL competency frameworks
- Facilitate in-boutique learning sessions including Flash Training, Morning Meetings, and collection briefings using blended and digital learning methods
- Coach Fashion Advisors on adaptability, client engagement, brand heritage, and collection knowledge to build emotional connections and personalize service
- Design and deliver tailored onboarding programs for new hires covering product knowledge, selling skills, and client experience
- Support and guide onboarding buddies to ensure effective integration of new employees
- Co-create learning content and development roadmaps with L&D and cross-functional teams including boutique management, HR, and regional teams
- Partner with Client Engagement Management and subject matter experts to execute client action plans and ensure comprehensive product and service training
- Monitor training effectiveness using KPIs and provide insights into staff performance and client trends to retail leaders
- Use Client Satisfaction (CSS) data to refine learning strategies and drive continuous improvement
- Standardize and improve learning processes, including training administration, feedback systems, and compliance with global and regional guidelines
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and operations to enhance learning platforms and systems

Skills
Experience
Proven experience in learning and development, retail training, or talent development roles. Demonstrated success designing and delivering coaching programs in luxury retail or high-service environments. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including HR, operations, and retail leadership. Track record of analyzing performance data to drive continuous improvement in team effectiveness and client satisfaction.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business, or related field; or equivalent professional experience demonstrating expertise in training design, coaching, and organizational development.
