Chanel seeks Regulatory Compliance Assistant Manager in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 5–7 years' experience in regulatory affairs and cosmetics compliance required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the fragrance and beauty products regulatory team in managing product registration, safety compliance, and quality assurance for cosmetic products in the Vietnamese market
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and logistics teams to resolve regulatory affairs issues and facilitate timely product launches
- Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders on product safety, quality, ingredients, packaging, labelling, and substantiated claims
- Monitor and communicate regulatory developments, trends, and changes affecting the beauty and fragrance sector
- Liaise with government registration agencies and relevant authorities to maintain compliance and foster positive relationships
- Coordinate applications and renewals for advertising permits and regulatory approvals required for business operations
- Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of all necessary certificates for office and commercial facilities, including safety certifications
- Manage license validity tracking and renewal timelines to ensure uninterrupted compliance across all regulatory domains
- Review operational matters from regulatory and compliance perspectives, identifying and escalating risks appropriately
- Champion brand protection and brand image integrity in all regulatory and compliance activities
- Continuously refine processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the compliance function
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in law, biotechnology, chemistry, or a related technical discipline
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance or legal affairs roles
- Demonstrated experience in both top-tier corporate law environments and multinational corporations
- Strong proficiency in commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and with disciplined self-management under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English, both written and verbal

Experience
5–7 years in regulatory affairs, compliance, or legal roles, ideally spanning both specialized law firms and multinational organizations with exposure to the beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics sector in regulated markets.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in law, biotechnology, chemistry, or equivalent technical discipline.
