Chanel seeks Regulatory Affairs Officer in Paris (CDD, Sept 2026) to manage international product compliance across fashion collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support chemical testing campaigns in collaboration with the Product Regulation Expert
- Define models, materials, and colors requiring testing to meet regulatory requirements for each collection across designated markets
- Monitor and report on physical sample shipments and manage sample retention
- Receive regulatory testing samples from manufacturers and suppliers via the SAMPLES tool and coordinate laboratory dispatch
- Track and manage KPIs related to the sample submission process
- Contribute to drafting and implementing regulatory procedures and regulatory monitoring initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement projects within the regulatory department, including process optimization, lead-time reduction, decision trees, and data analysis
- Liaise with market contacts, product lines, and testing laboratories
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+5) in Chemistry, Textiles, Leather, Regulatory Affairs, or related discipline
- Prior experience in quality assurance or regulatory affairs
- Knowledge of EU REACH regulation, Chinese GB standards, and U.S. regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills with demonstrated attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English, both written and spoken

Experience
First experience in quality assurance or regulatory affairs required; familiarity with fashion or luxury goods product compliance preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+5) in Chemistry, Textiles, Leather, Regulatory Affairs, or equivalent discipline.
