Chanel is hiring a Regional Sales Manager in Hamburg, Germany to lead retail operations and sales across Northern Germany.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the commercial strategy for Northern Germany to achieve and exceed sales, margin and clienteling KPIs across all managed boutiques and corners.
- Coach, mentor and performance-manage store managers and sales teams to ensure exceptional client experiences and consistent adherence to Chanel standards.
- Monitor regional financials including sales forecasting, budget management and P&L oversight; implement corrective actions where required.
- Drive recruitment, talent development and succession planning to build high-performing retail teams aligned with brand culture.
- Ensure merchandising, visual standards and product presentation meet Chanel guidelines; coordinate launches, events and in-store activations.
- Analyse market trends, competitive activity and local consumer behaviour to adapt commercial plans and assortments.
- Manage inventory flow and stock optimisation across the region in close collaboration with supply chain and wholesale teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (marketing, CRM, merchandising, operations) to execute brand initiatives and maximise local impact.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in luxury retail with responsibility for a multi-store or regional portfolio, preferably within premium fashion or beauty.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and managing budgets/P&L.
- Strong people-management skills with experience in talent development, coaching and performance management.
- Excellent commercial acumen and ability to translate brand strategy into local retail execution.
- Fluent German and professional-level English; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.

Typically 5+ years of progressive responsibility in luxury retail operations, including multi-site or regional management with proven results in sales growth, team leadership and commercial planning.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, retail, hospitality or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail.
