Regional Makeup Artist at Chanel, Chelmsford. Fixed-term contract covering John Lewis and nearby beauty counters. Build client relationships and deliver luxury makeup consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build lasting client relationships through tailored, memorable experiences across in-store and digital channels
- Deliver expert personalised makeup consultations that captivate and educate clients on product benefits and application techniques
- Host masterclasses and in-store events to elevate the makeup category and engage clientele
- Utilise clienteling and data capture tools to actively recruit new clients and grow personal client portfolio
- Support achievement of individual and counter sales targets whilst promoting complementary skincare and fragrance categories
- Lead by example in delivering best-in-class client experience and mentor colleagues as a brand ambassador
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in makeup artistry and product knowledge
- Proven experience delivering makeup consultations and engaging presentations to diverse audiences
- Strong client relationship management capabilities with evidence of building personal client bases
- Experience using clienteling platforms and retail point-of-sale systems
Skills
Experience
Experience in a client-facing retail environment, preferably within beauty, fragrance, or luxury goods. Demonstrated success in building client portfolios and delivering service-led experiences within a department store or selective retail setting.
Education
No specific formal qualifications are required. Professional makeup artistry certification or equivalent training is advantageous but not essential.
