Chanel — Paris: Real Estate & Data Analyst role supporting portfolio analytics, site strategy and reporting for the global retail network.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data-driven dashboards and KPI reports to monitor performance of the real estate portfolio (sales per square meter, occupancy, rental costs, capex, store profitability).
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to support site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, and store network optimisation.
- Perform market research and competitive benchmarking to inform location strategy and leasing recommendations.
- Aggregate, validate and enrich internal and external property datasets; ensure data governance and consistency across systems.
- Provide analytical input and decision-support for transactions, business cases and capital expenditure proposals.
- Collaborate with retail, finance, legal, operations and store development teams to translate analytical findings into commercial actions.
- Produce regular portfolio reviews and ad-hoc analyses for senior management and regional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in real estate, finance, economics, data science, engineering or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Proven ability to construct real estate financial models (DCF, NPV, lease cashflows) and to interpret commercial metrics.
- Strong numerical and analytical rigor with an aptitude for transforming complex datasets into clear insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Fluency in English; professional proficiency in French is highly desirable.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of experience in corporate real estate, real estate investment, consultancy, retail property analytics or a data-driven commercial role; experience in retail or luxury brand environments is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Data Science or similar preferred.
