Chanel seeks a Ready-to-Wear Product Manager in Paris (CDI) to lead product lifecycle and collection execution for prêt‑à‑porter.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for ready-to-wear collections, from concept and technical development to production and commercial launch.
- Translate creative direction and merchandising strategy into detailed product briefs, technical packs and pricing proposals while safeguarding brand codes and quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams — design, sourcing, production, quality, merchandising and retail — to ensure timing, fit, cost and margin objectives are met.
- Lead collection planning and assortment decisions in collaboration with Merchandising and Sales; set commercial targets, monitor sell-through and adjust replenishment strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships and supervise fit sessions, proto validations and pre-production approvals to ensure compliance with specifications and delivery schedules.
- Drive cost control, margin optimization and yield improvement initiatives through rigorous costing, material selection and production follow-up.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity and sales data to inform product decisions and present performance reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Product Management, Business or a related discipline; advanced degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabric behaviours and sizing systems; experience producing technical packs and managing fit processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex calendars and multiple product lines simultaneously while meeting quality and commercial objectives.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience working with tier-one suppliers and external ateliers.
- High level of commercial acumen, including pricing, costing and margin management.

Minimum five years’ experience in product management within luxury or premium ready-to-wear; significant exposure to collection-driven environments and direct collaboration with design and production teams.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Product Management or a related field; a master’s degree or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
