Chanel seeks a Fixed-Term Raw Materials Buyer for its Perfumes & Beauty division in Pantin to procure ingredients and manage suppliers.
Role & Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials and ingredients for perfume and beauty product lines
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal pricing and quality
- Monitor market conditions and material availability to ensure continuity of supply
- Coordinate with product development and manufacturing teams to meet material specifications
- Track inventory levels and forecast demand for raw materials
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cosmetic and fragrance ingredient sourcing
- Experience with procurement systems and supplier management
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Skills
Experience
Experience in raw materials procurement or sourcing within the beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics industry is preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain management, chemistry, or related field
