Role & Responsibilities

• Support quality system project leaders in piloting continuous improvement initiatives, from identifying improvement opportunities to implementing corrective and preventive action plans using problem-solving tools such as the Five Whys, Ishikawa diagrams, and Pareto analysis
• Actively participate in organizing project advancement meetings, formalize project tracking, and prepare weekly status reports for senior management
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets while monitoring all project phases
• Contribute to the drafting of project documentation including project plans and procedural guidelines
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and improvements
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts among stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and obstacles
• Participate in organizing and coordinating testing activities with external laboratories and analyze results

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
• Demonstrated rigor, organizational skills, and ability to anticipate requirements with autonomy and interpersonal effectiveness
• Interest in and sensitivity toward product quality and leather goods craftsmanship
• Proficiency with Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken); Italian proficiency is advantageous

Skills

Experience

Educational background in engineering, project management, or quality assurance preferred. Prior experience with continuous improvement projects or quality management systems is advantageous but not required for an internship position.

Education

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an engineering, business management, or quality assurance program at the tertiary level.
