Chanel Parfums Beauté seeks Quality Assurance Manager at Chamant, France. Lead makeup manufacturing quality operations with regulatory oversight and team management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Pilot quality management strategy aligned with site, operations, and central quality objectives
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 4 managers overseeing approximately 60 quality personnel
- Guarantee finished batch release in accordance with established practices and specifications
- Direct all on-site quality laboratories including assurance, regulatory control, perceived quality, and packaging functions
- Manage the CAPA system and internal/external dispute resolution
- Conduct risk and opportunity assessments within the quality perimeter and implement corrective actions
- Oversee regulatory authority inspections and supplier/subcontractor quality control
- Collaborate with Research & Development and industrial teams on product development
- Develop and manage the quality department budget
- Drive harmonization of quality practices across manufacturing sites to establish consistent excellence standards
- Optimize cost of quality through prevention, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in cross-functional transformation projects including digitalization and SAP implementation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in pharmacy, engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing quality functions in industrial environments, preferably in cosmetics or beauty manufacturing
- Demonstrated success conducting regulatory inspections at industrial facilities
- Proficiency in quality assurance tools, methodologies, and management techniques
- Comprehensive knowledge of product formulation, packaging, raw materials, manufacturing processes, analytical chemistry, and microbiology
- Proven experience in cross-functional management and project leadership
- Fluency in both French and English
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated agility and adaptability in complex environments

Minimum 10 years in quality management within industrial manufacturing, ideally in the cosmetics or beauty sector, with prior experience leading regulatory inspections and managing quality teams of significant scale.

Advanced degree (Pharmacy, Engineering, or equivalent scientific discipline)
