Chanel Quality Coordinator position in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Manage quality assurance for luxury watches and jewelry manufacturing with full-time contract potential.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide point-of-contact support to development and production teams on all quality-related matters, encompassing both dimensional and aesthetic aspects of products
- Ensure availability of necessary resources for dimensional and aesthetic inspection of products
- Track quality compliance for new series until inventory placement, verifying adherence to established standards
- Manage quality relationships with subcontractors and external suppliers
- Lead problem-solving initiatives within the production sector to address quality issues
- Monitor and pilot quality performance indicators to track departmental effectiveness
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and process optimization initiatives
- Act as facilitator between operational teams and quality requirements to ensure cross-functional alignment
Qualifications
- Engineering qualification (HES diploma equivalent) or advanced technical training (ES/apprenticeship) with quality specialization
- Proven experience in an equivalent quality role, preferably in watchmaking or jewelry manufacturing
- Mastery of quality management tools including 8D methodology, A3 reports, and QRQC
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of statistical methods such as process capability analysis (MSP, capabilités) and AQL sampling tables
- Autonomous, proactive, and meticulous approach to quality assurance
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent teamwork, initiative-taking, and communication skills (both written and oral)

Experience
Demonstrated experience in an equivalent quality assurance or quality control position, ideally within the watchmaking or luxury jewelry sector. The candidate should have practical exposure to managing quality standards across product development and manufacturing processes.
Education
HES-level engineering diploma or advanced technical certificate (ES/apprenticeship) with formal quality management training or certification.
