Chanel Quality Control Laboratory Technician position in Venette, France. Perform fragrance product testing and analysis for the Perfumes & Beauty division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform physicochemical and analytical analyses on fragrance raw materials, concentrates, semi-finished goods, and finished products according to established protocols and prioritization
- Analyze, evaluate, and interpret quality control results in collaboration with laboratory leadership
- Conduct olfactory assessments on fragrance products within the scope of the position
- Perform first-level maintenance on analytical equipment and instruments
- Manage laboratory operations including consumables inventory, equipment fleet, reference materials, and documentation systems
- Participate in quality system implementation, evaluation of new testing methodologies, and internal audits
Qualifications
- Baccalauréat +2/3 qualification in chemistry or related scientific discipline
- Approximately 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in fragrance or cosmetic quality control
- Proficiency with analytical techniques and instruments: titrators, spectrophotometers, HPLC, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Demonstrated adaptability and capacity for multidisciplinary work

Experience
Approximately 2 years of laboratory experience within a quality control or analytical testing environment, ideally in the fragrance, cosmetics, or personal care sector.
Education
Baccalauréat +2 or +3 qualification (equivalent to two or three years of post-secondary education) in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Venette, Hauts-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
